My never ending quest is to find the perfect Earth Maps for Civ!
I like to play realism with Civ the most, so having accurate Earth Maps "With Options" has been my biggest Civ quest.
It would be nice to be able to choose size of map (Large works well), how many Civs I want, what Civs I want, and always have them placed in the correct locations.
I'm kinda tired of using smart map, editing it all, placing my civs, creating worldbuilder save, editing it, then finally getting into my game...
Sounds simple eh?? well it hasn't been. Other than an awesome HUGE map, I've never found what I am looking for. The HUGE map wasn't even exactly what I looking for per-say, it just happened to be set up the way I wanted so I was very happy with it.
So, with the new BtS mod and the WoC being done, I put out my request once again! PLEASE, please could someone create what I have been searching for??
Thx P

Hey.
If you could provide me with a bmp of your perfect world map, I would be glad to make it into several maps of all sizes.
Ressource placement just isnt my greatest asset. A little help with that would be appreciated.

No not a screenshot, but I would make maps from that BMP using BMPtoWBS. Any Bmp with good contrast that can easily be re-coloured. Green for land, blue for sea... the rest of the colours i would put in. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the belly buttering . Bring me a nice good clean map (clean meaning without civs and ressources), and I'll do the finishing touches. Though please remember, the bigger the map, the more work it is, thus the more likely it is that I get bored prior to finishing it .

BP does a review of all of the worlds resources like oil, gas, coal etc. and give the % that each country has and also what their production level is at currently and was at in the past. With ocean resources you could try the EU fisheries website or equivalent website.
